U.S. MODEL

 

Certification

The CR 310 is designed by the CR design team and are built according to Lloyds Register of Shipping, CE norm and certified by International Marine Certification Institute. Each boat is controlled to these standards during the building time.

 

Hull and deck

The hull and deck are made of isopolyester with glassfiber reinforcement and multiaxial roving.  Everything made by hand, according to the sandwich method with balsa as distance material. The color is white, NGA Gelcoat, with inserted dark blue stripes. A hull construction consisting of stringers, engine bed, mastfoot and keel reinforcement is integrated and laminated from stem to stern. All structural bulkheads are laminated to the hull and deck.

Bath platform with boarding ladder is inserted into the stern. Deck, cockpit, winch plates and the bath platform are laid with 12 mm teak. Hull and deck is joined with 8-mm acid-proof bolts.

 

Cockpit

A large and generous cockpit with large lockers. A sprayhood, serves as a good protection towards rain etc. Main sheet bar with adjustable stoppers. Two Lewmar self tailing halyard winches. Two lockers for the halyards. Two 64 mm outlets for the drainage of the cockpit.

 

Keel

The keel is made of lead with antimony, weight of 3197 pounds. The keel is bolted to the hull with eleven M20 acid-proof bolts.

 

Mast

7/8-rig from Seldén made in silver anodised aluminum profile, that’s going through the deck and stands on the internal bottom grid. Seldén rodkick boom vang. Halyards and reefs to the cockpit. The mast is equipped with backstay adjuster, steaming light, deck light, Windex and pilot lines for additional halyards.

Deck gear

Toe rails in aluminium. Handle in teak. Two skylights, where of one is an emergency  exit for the owner’s cabin. Two windows in hardened glass in Stainless steel frames. One

portlight by the pantry, one in the toilet and one portlight to the aft cabin. Mooring cleats in stem, stern and springcleats amidships. Pulpits, integrated seats in aft. Two Lewmar self tailing genoa winches. Genoa bars with travellers. Anchorbox in the stem. Ventilator to the owners cabin.

 

Steering

Tiller steering. Compass mounted by the sliding hatch.

 

Engine

Yanmar 2GM, 2-cylinders, freshwater cooled diesel, 18 hp. The engine room is well insulated with 30 mm sound insulation. All service points have easy access. 2-blade folding propeller.

 

Electrical system

12 V system with a switchboard by the navigationseat. The switchboard is equipped with automatic fuses, switches, Diesel-, water-and voltmeter. 75 amps for lights etc and 75 amps for the engine. 55 Amp alternator is charging the batteries through a relay.

12 lightpoints, halogen lights.  110 volt system with circuit breakers and outlets.

 

Sails

Dacron Mainsail and  jib. The mainsail is equipped with 2 reefs, model mark, boat number, telltales, sailbag and mainsail cover.

 

Interior

The interior is made out of khaya mahogany with carefully made carpentry satin varnished. Varnished teak floorboards with light wood inserts. Cushions covered with high quality furnished fabric. Curtains to the windows in the salon.

Owners cabin

Double berth 6’-7” long. Shelves over the berths. Two wardrobes, one with shelves.  Stowage under the berths.

 

Salon

CR 310CR 310Large comfortable sofas on both sides. A table with integrated bottle locker. The sofas can be used as sea beds. Handles in the roof. Shelves and lockers on both sides. A navigation table with room for instruments. Headroom is 6’ 3”.

Galley

CR 310The pantry is shaped like an L, to get a good working area. Double sink with pressurized water, dustbin, gimballed 2-flame cooker with oven. Portlight above the cooker for ventilation. A large 3.9 cubic foot well insulated ice box.

 

Toilet

Washbasin and floor in laminate for easy cleaning. Pump toilet. Corian® around sink area. The toilet can also be used as a shower. Hanging locker for wet clothes that can be accessed from the cockpit. Portlight for light and ventilation. Pressurized water.

 

Aft cabin

A wide double berth placed amidships. Large wardrobe. Portlight.
